Frost Brown Todd is expanding its health care innovation team with the addition of partner Barbara Bennett. Her practice focuses on the intersection of technology and health care, including artificial intelligence. She previously served as a partner of a top 10 global law firm and has more than a decade of in-house legal experience, including as general counsel.

5. Bass, Berry & Sims adds 2 in Nashville -

Bass, Berry & Sims has added Remy Servis and Megan E. Smit in the firm’s Nashville office.

Servis advises clients on debt finance and real estate transactions across a variety of industries. Her practice includes the representation of borrowers and lenders in financing transactions and advising developers, investors and owners in the acquisition, financing, disposition and leasing of real property.

8. Ogletree Deakins names managing shareholder -

Ogletree Deakins has selected Luther Wright, Jr. as its office managing shareholder in Nashville.

Wright has practiced in the firm’s Nashville office for more than a decade. He represents management in all forms of employment discrimination litigation, including litigation based on federal anti-discrimination statutes, state statutes and common law, violence in the workplace, FLSA claims and independent contractor disputes. He also is a member of Ogletree Deakins’ national Diversity and Inclusion Practice Group.

9. Glass ends shootout in 7th round as Preds beat Coyotes 4-3 -

NASHVILLE (AP) — The Nashville Predators feel like they're improving with each game, and that meant finishing off a long homestand with a seven-round shootout.

Cody Glass scored off the right arm of Arizona goalie Connor Ingram, and the Predators held off the Coyotes 4-3 Monday night.

10. Garlington is new CFO at Centerstone -

Centerstone, a not-for-profit health system specializing in mental health and substance use disorder services, has selected Andy Garlington as the new chief financial officer.

Garlington will manage Centerstone’s revenues of more than $295 million and lead a finance team of 225 professionals.

11. Bass names Blackshear to executive committee -

Bass, Berry & Sims has appointed Lillian M. Blackshear from the firm’s Nashville office to its executive committee.

The seven-member committee includes attorneys from the firm’s Memphis, Nashville and Washington, D.C., offices. Members oversee strategic priorities of the firm, including client service, diversity and inclusion, growth and pro bono initiatives.

12. Picasso exhibit coming to Frist in February -

The Frist Art Museum has announced an exhibition of art by Pablo Picasso will make its sole U.S. appearance in Nashville.

Entitled ‘Picasso. Figures.’ the collection is from the Musée national Picasso-Paris and features 75 works of the human figure.

13. Allen honored again by Raymond James -
