Hagan Stone has been elected president of the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors for 2014. Stone, who is affiliated with the Brentwood office of Pilkerton Realtors, begins his one-year term Jan. 1.

Stone has served on the GNAR board of directors since 2009 and was named GNAR Realtor of the Year in 2010. In addition to his many involvements and accomplishments in the Realtor organization, Stone is also very active in the community. He volunteers for Habitat for Humanity, serves on the Belmont University Alumni Board, helped organize the curriculum for Youth Leadership Brentwood and has a long standing involvement with Young Life.

GNAR members also elected four new at-large directors on rotating three-year terms for 2014-2016. Those elected are:

Cesario is appointed interim COO for Corizon

Corizon, a provider of correctional health care solutions, has named Carla Cesario as interim chief operating officer. Cesario was formerly the senior vice president of community corrections at Corizon.

As interim COO, Cesario will be responsible for the key outcomes, goals, and strategic planning for Corizon. Cesario will also serve on Corizon’s senior executive leadership team.

Cesario’s extensive background in progressive correctional healthcare includes roles in the clinical, administrative and supervisory departments of multiple correctional sites. Her extensive management portfolio includes prisons, jails, sexual assault treatment centers, and juvenile detention centers.

Crownover Firm hires entertainment attorney

Litigator and entertainment attorney Cam Caldwell has joined Music Row’s Crownover Firm.

Caldwell is an attorney specializing in entertainment and business law. He joined the firm as special counsel focusing primarily on litigation and dispute resolution cases. He represents and counsels a wide array of clients ranging from artists and songwriters to consumer product manufacturers and entertainment-related businesses.

The Florida native earned his undergraduate degree at Georgia Southern University, where he also played college baseball and performed regularly as a musician at local venues in and around Statesboro, Ga. He then obtained his J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law of Jacksonville, Fla., where he was a member of the Entertainment and Sports Law Society. After earning his law degree, Caldwell moved to Nashville with his family to start his career as a litigator and to develop an entertainment law practice.

ReviveHealth adds to staff, announces promotion

ReviveHealth, a national health care strategic communications agency, has added Shannon McIntyre Hooper as vice president and promoted of Amanda MacRae to senior account executive.

Prior to joining ReviveHealth, Hooper was director of communications for Intel-GE Care Innovations, an Intel/GE Healthcare joint venture dedicated to transforming health care delivery. In that role, Shannon was responsible for integrated communications strategy and implementation through traditional and social media, advocacy building, thought leadership, public policy, and analyst relations.

She also served as a Commissioner for LeadingAge’s Center for Aging Services Technology (CAST) in Washington, DC, and was a frequent blogger on innovation and health care reform for publications such as McKnight’s Long-Term Care News.

MacRae joined ReviveHealth as an assistant account executive in 2010, bringing a background in qualitative and quantitative research, writing, editing and event coordination. As senior account executive, Amanda assists in managing projects and is responsible for implementing strategic campaigns.

Bottorff joins board of Library Foundation

Todd Bottorff, president, publisher and CEO of Turner Publishing Co., is the newest member of the Nashville Public Library Foundation Board of Directors.

Bottorff has previously served on the boards of NPT and Humanities Tennessee. Board members are elected for three year terms and sit on various committees furthering the mission of the Foundation: to enhance the programs, collections and facilities of the Nashville Public Library.

Seigenthaler PR adds account supervisor

Seigenthaler Public Relations has hired Laura Stephens as an account supervisor. Stephens specializes in higher education, new media, crisis management, and community relations. In addition to educational organizations, Stephens also represents clients in SPR’s healthcare, technology and finance sectors.

Stephens comes to SPR from Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fla., where she most recently was a public relations specialist. She joined the university’s communications department in 2009.

New director named for Farmers’ Market

Tasha Kennard has been named by Mayor Karl Dean as director of the Nashville Farmers’ Market.

Kennard previously served as vice president of marketing and communications at Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee.

She will assume her duties on Jan. 20.

At Second Harvest, Kennard developed and executed awareness and fundraising campaigns that helped increase revenues, developed a successful volunteer services program, and initiated the launch of Together We Grow, a children’s container garden and nutrition program, impacting at-risk youth in Davidson County.
