5. BNA’s Kreulen named TN Aviation Person of the Year -

The Tennessee Aviation Hall of Fame has recognized Nashville International Airport President and CEO Douglas E. Kreulen, A.A.E., as Tennessee’s 2019 Aviation Person Of The Year.

The TAHF board of directors established the award in 2011 to recognize special accomplishments benefiting aviation in Tennessee. Kreulen is the fourth person honored.

6. Middle Tennessee's $1M-plus residential transactions for 2017 -

There were 735 homes selling for $1 million or more in Davidson, Williamson, Rutherford, Sumner and Wilson counties in 2017, according to Chandler Reports.

Davidson County had the most with 386, followed by Williamson (316), Sumner (21), Wilson (10) and Rutherford (2).

7. Pathway Lending president appointed to board -

President Donald Trump has appointed Clint Gwin, president of Pathway Lending, to serve as a member of the Community Development Advisory Board, which advises the U.S. Treasury Department’s Community Development Financial Institution’s Fund on policies and activities. Gwin will serve a term of four years on the board.

12. Uniguest names Morgan chief executive officer -

Uniguest, a provider of secure managed technology services, has announced the appointment of Joseph P. Morgan, Jr. as chief executive officer, effective July 6, 2015.

Morgan had served as president and chief executive officer of The Standard Register Company, a publicly traded company with revenues approaching $1 billion, since January 2009. At The Standard Register Company, he was responsible for the transformation of the printing giant to an integrated communications company leveraging both technology and innovation to develop a market-focused strategy. Morgan also served on the Board of Directors and held a number of community and charitable leadership positions during his tenure with the company.

John W. Hale, Jr., MD, a family physician in Union City, has been installed as 2015-2016 president of the Tennessee Medical Association, the state’s largest professional organization for physicians. Hale’s term officially began this week during TMA’s annual convention in Nashville.

Capella Healthcare has announced the appointment of Troy E. Sybert, MD, MPH, as executive vice president and chief medical officer.

31. Minch to be installed as president of TMA -

F. Michael Minch, MD, a Nashville surgeon, will be installed as the 157th president of the Tennessee Medical Association during the annual TMA House of Delegates meeting here Saturday.

As the TMA’s president, Minch will serve on the TMA Board of Trustees (BOT), which is responsible for the implementation and direction of Association activities between sessions of the House of Delegates (HOD), the Association’s governing body.
