NASHVILLE (AP) — The Tennessee Chamber of Commerce has named Bradley Jackson as the trade association's president and CEO.
Jackson, who has lobbied for the chamber since 2007, was named interim head of the organization in April following the departure of predecessor Catherine Glover.
Greg Martz, the chairman of the chamber's board of directors, said the decision to make Jackson the permanent president came with the endorsement of several elected officials and business leaders around the state.
Before joining the chamber, Jackson was a staffer for the state Senate Finance Committee, a lobbyist for the Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions and an aide to then-Gov. Phil Bredesen.
Jackson is a Lawrenceburg native and a graduate of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
