NASHVILLE (AP) - The Tennessee Titans will be collecting donations of school supplies before their home opener Sunday with the Indianapolis Colts.

Volunteers from PENCIL Foundation and LP Building Products will be collecting donations from seven drop-off locations outside Nissan Stadium. Collections will start at 10 a.m. CDT and will continue until 12:30 p.m., a half-hour after the opening kickoff.

Fans are encouraged to bring pencil boxes, backpacks, notebook paper, primary tablets, cleaning supplies, paper towels, construction paper, art supplies and facial tissues.

PENCIL Foundation and LP Building Products formed LP PENCIL Box as a collaborative venture in 2005. LP PENCIL Box offers Nashville teachers a chance to shop free twice per year for school supplies to benefit the area's neediest students.
