NASHVILLE (AP) — The Kings of Leon will help Nashvillians ring in 2016.
The Nashville Convention and Visitors Corp. announced this week that the Grammy Award-winning family band from Nashville will headline the Jack Daniel's Bash on Broadway: New Year's Eve in Music City.
Kings of Leon drummer Nathan Followill says he can't think of any place he'd rather play New Year's Eve than at home with 100,000 of his closest friends.
This is not the first time the NCVC has partnered with the band. In February, the band played a concert at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in conjunction with the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit launch.
Kings of Leon was inducted into the Music City Walk of Fame and received the Music City Ambassador Award from Nashville Mayor Karl Dean in 2012.
