NASHVILLE (AP) — The Music City Star train service will transport runners to Saturday's Country Music Marathon in Nashville while benefiting the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
The train will depart Lebanon Station at 5 a.m. local time and will make stops at Martha, Mt. Juliet, Hermitage and Donelson before arriving at Riverfront Station at 6 a.m. The return train leaves Riverfront at noon.
Physical therapists from Premier Orthopedics will offer advice on marathon preparation during the ride to Nashville. On the way back, those therapists will provide tips on how to care of aching muscles.
Proceeds from the $12 tickets will benefit St. Jude. Tickets can be purchased online at www.ticketsnashville.com.
The Music City Star is typically a weekday rail service for commuters going from Wilson County to Nashville.
