Corbin
Tim Corbin, head coach of the Vanderbilt University’s NCAA national championship baseball team, has been named Outstanding Nashvillian of the Year by The Kiwanis Club of Nashville.
Established 34 years ago, The Kiwanis Club’s Outstanding Nashvillian of the Year Award is presented annually to one or more Nashvillians who have made the greatest positive difference to the Metro Nashville community during the previous year by having gone beyond the call of duty and given unstintingly of his or her abilities and/or resources for the betterment of the Nashville area without seeking recognition or reward.
Corbin is in his 13th season with the Commodores, having posted a 516-250 record in his first 12 seasons. His career record as a head coach is 622-388, having previously coached at Presbyterian and as an assistant at Clemson.
His team’s 2014 NCAA championship was the first in any men’s sport for Vanderbilt.
The Kiwanis Club of Nashville was established has been serving the community since 1916.
Lechleiter selected as Realtor of the Year

The Greater Nashville Association of Realtors recently named Price Lechleiter of Fridrich & Clark Realty the 2014 Realtor of the Year, according to GNAR President Cindy Stanton.
Realtor of the Year is an annual award given to the GNAR Realtor member who has made the most significant contribution to their clients, the real estate profession and the community. Lechleiter was recognized for his achievements by Jay Lowenthal, the 2013 recipient, at GNAR’s annual Awards of Excellence Gala held Saturday, March 15, at the Omni Hotel in downtown Nashville.
Lechleiter has more than 20 years of experience in the real estate business and has been involved at GNAR for 15 of those years. He served on and chaired multiple committees before serving on the board of directors. In 2013, he held the role of association president.
Lechleiter is a native Nashvillian and a graduate of Hillsboro High School and the University of Tennessee.

Bass, Berry & Sims PLC is pleased to announce that Angela Humphreys and Cynthia N. Sellers have been appointed to serve as practice chairs of the Healthcare and Real Estate & Commercial Finance practice groups, respectively.
Humphreys succeeds Jim Jenkins, who led the 115-member health care group for four years. Humphreys focuses her practice on advising health care clients on a range of operational, regulatory and transactional issues and leads interdisciplinary teams in mergers and acquisitions in the health care sector.
Humphreys is a fellow of the Nashville Health Care Council and is a past director of Leadership Health Care. She currently serves as chair of the Health Care M&A Committee and vice chair of the Health Law and Life Sciences Committee of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association. Humphreys earned her J.D. and a B.S. from the University of Tennessee.
Sellers
Sellers assumes leadership from Mark Sheets, who led the real estate and commercial finance team for nine years. She has nearly 30 years of experience representing banks, public and private companies and investors in a variety of financial transactions.
Sellers previously served as assistant general counsel at Bank of America. She was head of the firm’s marketing committee and is currently a fellow of the Nashville Bar Association. Sellers earned her J.D. from the University of Tennessee and a B.S. from Meredith College.
Frost Brown Todd expands IP practice

Frost Brown Todd has added attorney Douglas W. Schelling to the firm’s Nashville office and 50-person Intellectual Property Practice Group.
Members of the firm’s IP group are spread across several markets, including Cincinnati, Columbus, Indianapolis, Louisville and Nashville.
In addition to his law degree from the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law, Schelling has a B.S. in biology and a Ph.D. in cellular and molecular biology from the University of Kentucky. He leverages this technical background to assist clients across industries in evaluating the patentability of inventions, preparing and prosecuting patent applications, evaluating potential trade and service marks, enforcing trademark rights, preparing and prosecuting applications for trade and service marks nationally and abroad, and drafting and negotiating various intellectual property related agreements.
First Tennessee hires Byers as senior VP
First Tennessee Bank has hired Brent Byers as senior vice president, business banking manager. Byers has been in the banking industry for more than 20 years, with more than half of that spent in Middle Tennessee.
Prior to joining First Tennessee Bank, Mr. Byers served as senior vice president, regional manager – business banking, for US Bank in both the Nashville and Louisville, Kentucky, markets. Earlier, he was executive vice president, commercial line of business manager, for the Eastern Tennessee Region of SunTrust Banks, Inc.
Byers is an alumnus of Texas Christian University and a graduate of the University of Virginia, Graduate School of Retail Bank Management.
Stover joins Regions as VP, wealth advisor

Regions has announced the hiring of Felecia Stover to the position of vice president and wealth advisor for Nashville and Middle Tennessee. In this role, Stover will focus on strategic wealth management for individuals and families, providing solutions for multidimensional personal and business finances.
Stover brings a diverse background, including experience in banking, wealth management and consulting to her new role. She has previously held positions as a private banker/wealth advisor with SunTrust, Regions and Morgan Keegan. She also was a financial training & development consultant with Holston Consulting, and co-founded favorit, a social gifting technology firm.
Stover earned a degree in banking and corporate finance from East Tennessee State University.
Wright to serve as DSi forensics manager

Electronic discovery and digital forensics firm DSi has announced the hiring of Anthony Wright as forensics manager. Wright comes to DSi from Deloitte, where he worked in their eDiscovery Solutions Center.
Wright has worked in litigation technology throughout his career, managing eDiscovery processes and workflows for large and high profile clients, including in the Fortune 100, with pinpoint accuracy. This required managing his own team, designing and implementing technology solutions and overseeing forensic data collections.
As forensics manager, Wright’s primary responsibility at DSi will be to oversee the forensic technician team. He will also assist with troubleshooting, work with SQL queries and evaluate new software. He earned a degree in business administration from MTSU.
