Screening, Discussion of ‘American Denial’. The law firm of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC presents a special screening tonight in conjunction with Nashville Public Television’s Black History Month programming. “American Denial” is the story of researcher and Nobel Laureate Gunnar Myrdal whose study, “An American Dilemma” (1944), provided an inquiry into how denial, cognitive dissonance, and unrecognized, unconscious attitudes continue to dominate racial dynamics in American life. Williamson County Democrats to Hold Biennial Convention

Officers will be elected to serve two-year terms. Positions are chair, vice chair, recording secretary and treasurer. Other ancillary positions and committee positions may be filled or appointed. The party will also review by-laws and discuss the 2015-16 party agenda. As many as 24 executive committee members, two each from each of the 12 voting districts in the county, will be selected.
