NASHVILLE (AP) — The office of U.S. Rep. Phil Roe says his wife Pamela has died.
Roe's office issued a statement saying she died Thursday. A cause of death was not disclosed.
The statement says Pamela Roe was a devoted mother, grandmother, wife, friend and philanthropist.
Roe, a Republican from Johnson City, announced in February that he would take time off from Washington because a member of his family had a very serious illness.
Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam issued a statement saying he and his wife Crissy were sad with the news of Pamela Roe's passing.
