Watkins College of Art, Design & Film presents paintings by juniors Marlos E’van and Aaron Harper at its downtown gallery WAG during the Jan. 3 edition of the First Saturday Art Crawl. Nashville Zoo Hosts Docent Open House

Nashville Zoo is hosting an open house for anyone interested in joining the Zoo’s docent program, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Zoo’s Croft Center. Docents are a specialized group of the Zoo’s volunteer corps committed to educating the public about the Zoo’s animals and conservation and wildlife issues. Docents must volunteer a minimum of 80 hours a year, attend six training classes (beginning Feb. 7) and pay a one-time fee of $80 for uniform and training materials.
