Museum seeking images of Tennessee communities

Friday, September 5, 2014, Vol. 38, No. 36

NASHVILLE (AP) — The Tennessee State Museum wants photographs of communities across the state and is asking Tennessee residents to submit pictures to be placed on display next month.

The museum says it's only accepting digital images. It plans to display them as part of an exhibition celebrating the photographic documentation of LaFollette.

Images selected will be displayed in conjunction with an exhibit called "Eyes On LaFollette," which showcases 20 years of student photojournalists documenting the historic community.

Submit entries by 5 p.m. Sept. 19. Photos may be submitted by emailing the photo, a completed entry form and model release form to [email protected]. Or mail or deliver photos to the museum in digital format on CD. There is no charge to enter, but only one image per person is allowed.
