NPR's Michele Norris to speak at Nashville library

NASHVILLE (AP) - National Public Radio host and author Michele Norris will speak at the Nashville Public Library in downtown Nashville on Saturday.

Norris, who is also a special correspondent for NPR, previously served as co-host of NPR's news magazine "All Things Considered," public radio's longest-running national program.

Norris also leads "The Race Card Project," an initiative to foster a wider conversation about race in America.

On Saturday, Norris will discuss race, class and civil rights. The event is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
