NASHVILLE (AP) — Tennessee Titans safety Michael Griffin is hosting a celebrity fundraiser for a program that provides bags of healthy foods for disadvantaged high school kids to take home on the weekends.
According to a news release about the event, the Thursday fundraiser will give attendees the opportunity to mix with Titans players while enjoying free food and drinks and watching the NFL's debut game of the 2013 season.
Last year, Griffin's Sacks 4 Kids charity provided more than $16,000 for the program.
The event takes place at Nashville's Hard Rock Cafe. Tickets are $100 and can be reserved by calling (615) 535-3140.
