MURFREESBORO (AP) — Middle Tennessee State University's student farmers market opens to the public on Friday.
Officials say the market will be open from noon to 3 p.m. at the Horticulture Center on Lightning Way across from the Tennessee Livestock Center.
Because of road construction at the intersection of Champion and Lightning ways, people attending the market are being asked to arrive via Blue Raider Drive on the north side of campus or MTSU Boulevard on the east side of campus.
The market's produce is grown and harvested by students, faculty and staff at the university's farm and dairy.
The market is expected to be open every Friday into early fall.
