NASHVILLE (AP) — Farmers and ranchers from Farm Bureau chapters all over the country are in Nashville this week for the annual American Farm Bureau meeting.
The convention will include a trade show, conferences, seminars, agricultural tours, food demonstrations and awards starting on Sunday and running through Wednesday. An estimated 6,000 participants are expected to attend the meeting at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center.
Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack and retired Navy Capt. Mark Kelly, a former NASA astronaut and husband of former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, are both going to speak at the convention.
