NASHVILLE (AP) — A group called the Fan Freedom Project has asked for a state investigation into possible ticket scalping in Nashville.
The group cited an investigation by WTVF-TV (http://bit.ly/LHpvfF ) that showed professional ticket scalpers gobbled up most of the best seats at a recent Eric Church concert at Bridgestone Arena. Jon Potter, head of the group, said those who resold tickets apparently used robotic ticket-grabbing software to buy tickets in the first place.
A spokeswoman for the Tennessee attorney general said the office did receive a letter requesting an investigation. She said the matter will be reviewed.
