NASHVILLE (AP) - Prosecutors in Nashville have dropped misdemeanor charges against Tennessee Titans' wide receiver Kenny Britt.
He had been due in court Tuesday on two counts of supplying false information on a driver's license application. Susan Niland, a spokeswoman for the Davidson County district attorney's office, said the charges were dropped because the state had restored Britt's driving privileges following an administrative hearing.
Britt has had several run-ins with police, including three during the lockout by NFL owners.
He currently is out for the season with a leg injury suffered in September.
