NASHVILLE (AP) — Nashville International Airport has completed a new system for screening checked baggage.

According to a news release from the airport, the system improves the safety and security of the screening process by filtering all baggage through better explosive screening machines.

The new arrangement also increases available space in the ticketing lobby by removing old screening machines.

The airport serves some 8 million passengers a year.
