NASHVILLE (AP) — The Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville has created a sports concussion center.

The school said in a news release the facility is designed to integrate and standardize the care of athletes and others who suffer concussions.

Officials said they would treat any concussed athlete, from professionals to grade school.

Dr. Gary Solomon of the center said concussions are increasing because athletes are getting bigger, faster and stronger.
