NASHVILLE (AP) — The Country Music Association says its recent four-day festival in Nashville generated approximately $30 million in direct visitor spending for the city.

The association said in a news release Thursday that spending was up from $24 million for the 2010 festival.

The 40th annual festival June 9-12 had average daily attendance of 65,000 over four days at LP Field.
