Titans minority owner selling her portion of the NFL team
NASHVILLE (AP) — Tennessee Titans minority owner Susie Adams Smith is selling her portion of the team.
Titans controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk confirmed Tuesday that Smith "began the process of selling her portion of KSA Industries, which includes a fractional indirect interest in the Tennessee Titans." Strunk says it "will not impact team operations in any way."
Smith owns one-third of the Titans. Strunk says the remaining two-thirds of the team "is not and has never been for sale."
Bloomberg first reported Smith was selling her portion of the team.
Smith is the wife of Tommy Smith, who retired as team president in March 2015. He took over after Bud Adams, the father of Susie Adams Smith and Strunk, died in October 2013.
