Armada Nutrition expanding in Spring Hill, adding 310 jobs
NASHVILLE (AP) — Armada Nutrition has announced it is expanding its Spring Hill operations, investing $2.1 million and creating 310 new jobs over the next five years.
Officials from the food packaging company announced the plans Monday, along with Gov. Bill Haslam and Economic and Community Development Commissioner Randy Boyd.
The Maury County Chamber of Commerce said in a news release that Armada will take over a 300,000-square-foot facility previously owned by Capstone Nutrition. The new facility primarily will be used for contract blending and packaging of sports nutrition products.
Armada will retain 111 jobs from Capstone in addition to the new jobs.
