FRANKLIN (AP) - Officials have announced that Schneider Electric USA Inc. will locate a regional office in Franklin, bringing an additional 250 jobs to the county.

The state said in a news release the company will consolidate its existing Middle Tennessee operations in Davidson and Rutherford counties, relocating approximately 900 current employees to Williamson County, totaling more than 1,100 jobs.

The Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development said Schneider is a global company that specializes in energy management and automation.
