Long lines expected at airport following CMA Fest, Bonnaroo
NASHVILLE (AP) - Nashville International Airport officials have issued a travel alert warning passengers flying out of Music City that crowds could get big at the airport.
With the departure of CMA Music Festival and Bonnaroo Music And Arts Festival attendees, airport officials say passengers should prepare for more people and longer lines at the airport Monday.
Airport officials are encouraging all passengers to know what they can pack, to check their flight status before heading to the airport, to arrive inside the terminal at least two hours before their scheduled flight and to check their boarding passes to see if they are eligible for pre-screening before a flight.
Mobile boarding passes are accepted. Passengers can use smartphones and tablets to show their boarding passes for check-in.
