Nashville airport adding 2nd cell phone waiting lot
NASHVILLE (AP) - Nashville International Airport is adding a second parking lot for people waiting on cell phone calls from arriving travelers.
The airport says construction starts Monday, and motorists exiting from Interstate 40 east should be aware of construction workers and vehicles in the area. The speed limit will be reduced from 40 mph to 25 mph.
The airport already has a 49-space cell phone waiting lot where motorists can await guests' arrival. The new lot will contain 80 spaces and will be located in the northeast corner of the existing valet lot, easily accessible from I-40 east.
The project is expected to be finished by June 17.
