NASHVILLE (AP) - A documentary by retired journalist and NBC Universal executive Paula Williams Madison is being screened by the International Black Film Festival in Nashville this week.

Madison's documentary, "Finding Samuel Lowe: From Harlem to China," will be shown at 6 p.m. Wednesday on the campus of Fisk University in Jubilee Hall. The event is free and open to the public, and a question-and-answer session with Madison will follow the film. The event is part of the university's 87th annual Spring Arts Festival.

In the documentary, Madison traces her family tree from Harlem to China, where she was told her grandfather, Samuel Lowe, returned and died.
