New conference scheduled for Tennessee's farmers
NASHVILLE (AP) — A new conference for Tennessee farmers is scheduled for next month in Knoxville.
State officials say the Pick TN Conference is a collaborative effort of Tennessee producer organizations and agriculture agencies.
Scheduled for Feb. 11-13 at the Knoxville Marriott, the conference can help modern farmers who have little time to explore the constantly evolving options, issues and information in their industry.
Attendees can choose sessions based on the needs of their operations, from social media marketing to livestock and crop management. A trade show will feature technology and equipment exhibitors. Educational, state and federal groups will be available to answer questions and share information about their programs.
Interested parties can go to http://www.picktnconference.com to see a roster of breakout sessions, networking opportunities and expert speakers.
