NASHVILLE (AP) - The work of Tennessee artisans will be highlighted at the Tennessee Residence as Gov. Bill Haslam and first lady Crissy Haslam open the executive residence for self-guided tours starting Friday.

Crissy Haslam's office said in a news release that the holiday decoration theme is "Tennessee Craft." Artists from across the state have loaned their work for the two-week open house.

Tours are available Mondays through Saturdays through Dec. 17. Visitors can reserve a time at http://www.tn.gov/firstlady.

The first lady's office says trees and mantels in the Tennessee Residence will be decorated with a variety of original art. Trees in Conservation Hall will be decorated with ornaments made by students in Tennessee art camps last summer. Additional ornaments and decoration will come from the Jim Marvin Collection, based in Dickson.
