TSU appoints chief advancement officer
NASHVILLE (AP) — Tennessee State University has appointed a new associate vice president for institutional advancement.
TSU President Glenda Glover recently announced that Eloise Abernathy Alexis will serve as the university's chief advancement officer, providing strategic advocacy and leadership for alumni relations, annual giving and development.
Alexis, a Nashville native with more than 20 years of experience in advancement and development roles, previously served as vice president for college relations at Spellman College in Atlanta.
Glover says she believes Alexis' experience will advance TSU's vision and priorities.
