First Saturday Art Crawl. This event is typically held on the first Saturday of each month, but it will be held on Friday this month due to Let Freedom Sing! Music City July 4th Celebration. Art galleries throughout downtown host receptions and art openings every month. Most galleries serve free wine and other refreshments. Live music will be performed on platforms along 5th Avenue. Two free shuttles will circulate the route from 6 pm - 10 pm.

Let Freedom Sing! Music City July 4th Celebration

This year’s celebration will feature the largest fireworks display in the country. The main concert will be staged at the corner of Broadway and 1st Avenue. Festivities are expanding this year with live music on the main stage 4-10 pm on Friday, July 3 featuring The Weeks, Gabe Dixon, Elise Davis and DJ DU. The July 4 events begin at noon with the free Family Fun Zone along with event vendors and live pre-show music until 5 p.m. at Bridgestone Arena Plaza. The main stage concert at 1st Avenue and Broadway begins at 6:45 pm featuring performances by Martina McBride, Mikky Ekko, the Nashville Symphony Orchestra and more. The celebration concludes at approximately 9:55 pm with the longest and largest fireworks display in the city’s history choreographed to the sounds of the Nashville Symphony. Riverfront Park will be open for viewing the fireworks display where video screens and audio will also be available.

Downtown Franklin July 4th Celebration

The free festival kicks off at 10 a.m. with bluegrass music. Food and craft vendors will fill the area with woodworking, jewelry and other handmade items. The kid’s zone on 3rd Avenue North will have inflatables, a petting zoo and pony rides. The children’s parade begins lining up at 4:45 and starts at 5 p.m. Fireworks will take place at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm at approximately 9:15 p.m. Information: www.tneventinfo.com/fr_4thofjuly.cfm

Business Studio: Get Your Brand On

Business Studio is partnering with Werkshop Branding, and its DIG events for a branding “werkshop” at the Emma Bistro. Business Studio: Marketing Starter Series - Websites & SEO

Business Studio is partnering with k2forma to present four “DIY” marketing workshops (July 8, 15, 22 and 29) as part of our Marketing Starter Series. This series is designed to empower small business owners to manage their marketing efforts and optimize their resources on their own. You’ll learn how to work smarter, not harder. Kelly Koeppel of k2forma will lead the workshops with a different industry expert as our guest facilitator each week. The workshops will be hands-on with lively discussion and will build upon the previous class. Davidson County Democratic Party Honors Dinner

The Davidson County Democratic Party will honor Nashville’s advocates for inclusion and immigration reform at its Honors Dinner. Music Industry Day at Summer NAMM

Offers musicians, audio pros and those who love music access to Summer NAMM at Nashville’s Music City Center. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. This is a unique opportunity to check out one of NAMM’s exclusive, world-renowned music product events. Network with industry leaders, meet other musicians, attend workshops, and demo gear from more than 1,000 music product brands.
