Nashville event seeks to support, improve public schools
NASHVILLE (AP) — The Nashville Public Education Foundation is hosting an event on Saturday to discuss ways to support and improve public schools.
The free event begins at 10 a.m. and will be held at Rocketown located at 601 Fourth Ave. South near downtown.
Three national speakers will be joined by several prominent Nashville educators for a presentation and Q&A with the audience.
In addition to hands-on activities, there will also be free books for children, as well as a chance to win tickets from Southwest Airlines.
