NASHVILLE (AP) - A former NFL player is asking for help in finding his Super Bowl ring, which he says he lost over the weekend in Nashville.

Craig Colquitt, who was a punter for the Pittsburgh Steelers, told media outlets that he thinks he lost the ring at a bar-restaurant called Rippy's. He says he doesn't mind taking photos with fans and letting them try on the ring, but that at some point Saturday it went missing.

Colquitt says he's offering a reward and won't ask questions if the ring is returned.

The ring commemorates the 1979 Super Bowl in which the Steelers' had a 35-31 win over Dallas. It has three diamonds and Colquitt's name on it.

Colquitt was a standout kicker at Tennessee before being drafted in 1978 by the Steelers.
