Snedeker helps Titans raise money for YWCA
NASHVILLE (AP) - Brandt Snedeker has taken out skeet targets with a golf shot. Now the PGA pro has a chance at helping the Titans and Bridgestone donate up to $50,000 for domestic violence programs at halftime of Tennessee's game with Pittsburgh on Monday night.
Snedeker will attempt five shots at targets at LP Field with the money going to the YWCA of Nashville & Middle Tennessee to support its domestic violence prevention programs.
Titans executive vice president Don MacLachlan says it's a unique event to help increase awareness and raise money to stop domestic violence.
Fans at the game also will receive a purple bracelet from Bridgestone supporting domestic violence prevention, and the bracelet has a number encouraging fans to donate as well.
