Capella Healthcare names corporate compliance officer

Capella Healthcare has announced the appointment of Angie L. Mulder as corporate compliance officer.

With more than 20 years of leadership experience in health care, Mulder began her career at Ernst & Young, where she was primarily assigned to health care audit clients, including HealthTrust. She then held various financial and audit roles for Symphony Home Care and HCA.

Most recently, Mulder was senior director, ethics and compliance, for LifePoint Hospitals, having joined the company shortly after its spin-off from HCA in 1999.

Mulder earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Georgia.

Hunter Branstetter joins Sherrard & Roe

Branstetter

Attorney Hunter Coleman Branstetter has joined the law firm of Sherrard & Roe, PLC as an associate in the litigation practice group.

Before joining Sherrard & Roe, Branstetter served as a law clerk to the Hon. Bernice B. Donald of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Branstetter earned his law degree from Vanderbilt University in 2013, where he served as development editor of the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment & Technology Law, content editor of the Obiter Dictum, and president of American Constitution Society. He also is a 2009 graduate of Washington and Lee University.

Lifepoint announces 3 vice presidents

LifePoint Hospitals has appointed Mary Kiger to vice president of service line development, Conrad Deese to vice president of finance for LifePoint’s Eastern Group and Rick Phillips to vice president of clinical operations.

Kiger will lead the development of a standard set of integrated services lines to improve quality, operational and cost efficiency and grow market share.

She joins LifePoint from Guardian Healthcare Providers, Inc., where she was responsible for strategy, business development and marketing.

Deese joins LifePoint’s Eastern Group, which includes hospitals in Michigan, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia, including hospitals affiliated with Duke LifePoint Healthcare, as vice president of finance.

He joined LifePoint from Health Management Associates, where he served for nine years and was most recently group chief financial officer/VP of operations finance.

Phillips will guide the clinical deployment of specific service lines in LifePoint’s hospitals.

He has more than 30 years of experience in health care operations management and was previously vice president, supply chain and clinical services, for LifePoint.

He joined the company in 2008 as director of medical imaging and cardiovascular services.

INSBANK expands mortgage division

INSBANK, a Nashville-based full service bank, is expanding its residential mortgage subsidiary, Finworth Mortgage, by adding two industry veterans in senior leadership roles to help meet the increasing demands of the Middle Tennessee real estate market.

Michael Lee will serve as the mortgage company’s first vice president and managing director. Keith Collison is Finworth’s vice president and loan originator.

In his new role at Finworth, Lee will manage the overall growth of the company. Prior to joining Finworth, Lee was a vice president of Ditech Mortgage/Walter Investments. He has more than 25 years of experience in the mortgage industry, formerly serving as the executive vice president for United Financial Mortgage Corporation and regional vice president for CTX Mortgage.

With more than 18 years of experience, Collison is responsible for ensuring Finworth’s profitability and market share growth while cultivating strong client relationships.

He most recently served as vice president of mortgage lending and branch manager for Guaranteed Rate. He has previously held positions at Fifth Third Bank and Wells Fargo.

Lazenby joins LBMC Employment Partners

LBMC Employment Partners, LLC, a member of the Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain, PC Family of Companies, has added Susan Lazenby in its Brentwood (Nashville) office.

Lazenby has joined the company’s business development group. She previously was a brand manager for Ralph Lauren, earning sales coordinator of the year honors for 2004-2005.

Originally from Newbern, Lazenby earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee.

Tuck Hinton brings Hart aboard as intern architect

Will Hart, Assoc. AIA, LEED AP BD + C, has joined Tuck Hinton Architects as intern architect.

Hart was previously an intern architect at KPS Group, Inc., in Birmingham. He earned his Bachelor of Architecture at Auburn University in 2010, and completed his MBA at Auburn in 2011. Hart is an associate member of the American Institute of Architects and a LEED Accredited Professional.

BOHAN hires copywriter, broadcast producer

BOHAN Advertising has hired a senior copywriter whose credits include Planet Fitness, Harley-Davidson and Subway and a broadcast producer who has worked on projects for GE, AOL and DuPont.

Bridget Deenihan, previously senior copywriter at Anson-Stoner in Orlando, joins BOHAN as senior copywriter. Her “Faces of HIV” campaign for the Florida Department of Health won district gold and national silver Addy Awards. Other client experience includes Eddie Bauer, Full Sail University, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide and The Peabody Orlando.

Matt Weber now is part of BOHAN’s Emmy Award-winning broadcast team. He joins the agency as broadcast producer. He previously was broadcast production supervisor at Rhea + Kaiser in Chicago. His client experience includes Verizon Wireless Small Business, Northwestern Medicine, DePaul University and Bayer CropScience.

Churchill Mortgage adds 13 employees in Brentwood

Churchill Mortgage has expanded its Brentwood staff with 13 new employees. They are:

Joan McClean, a processing team leader with 18 years of industry experience, Mary Beth Langhans and Rachel Schatte, processors, Charlotte Loines, home loan specialist, Audra Moore, who has nearly two decades of experience in the mortgage industry, and Brian Nguyen as remote underwriters, Patricia Greer and Christopher Moon as funding coordinator and compliance analyst, respectively, James Holder and Matthew Thompson as IT support specialists, Mike Thompson as a software developer, Robert Melendez as a customer support specialist and Austin McDaniel as a set-up administrator.
