Bella Rustica. AGAPE Nashville will host Bella Rustica – A Spectacle of American Vintage, its annual vintage market, Friday and Saturday, at historic Harlinsdale Farm in Franklin. Proceeds will help the agency continue its work with foster children across Middle Tennessee. This year’s family and pet-friendly event will feature more than 40 artists and antique dealers from across the Southeast and Midwest. Music With A Mission
Larry Gatlin & the Gatlin Brothers, Steve and Rudy, along with the GRAMMY Award-winning Nashville Symphony, will host this year’s “Music With A Mission” at 7 p.m. at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center to benefit the Nashville Rescue Mission. The Legacy of Stones River
Commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Civil War in Murfreesboro by exploring the conflicting emotions of Southerners at the outset of the conflict and the destruction caused by four years of war. The day’s program begins at the First Presbyterian Church, 210 North Spring Street in Murfreesboro, at 9:45 with presentations by Prof. Erskine Clarke and historian Megan Kate Nelson. Afternoon sessions will take place at the Stones River National Battlefield, 1563 North Thompson Lane in Murfreesboro, with a ranger presentation titled “Joseph Palmer: A Reluctant Leader,” which tells the story of the former mayor of Murfreesboro as he transitioned from an opponent of secession to leading his fellow townspeople during the Battle of Stones River.
