NASHVILLE (AP) — Grammy-winning country trio Lady Antebellum will headline the sixth annual Jack Daniel's New Year's Eve Bash in Nashville.

The Nashville Convention and Visitors Corp. made the announcement this week.

Ken Levitan is chairman of the NCVC board of directors and president of Vector Management. He says the event has grown every year and drawn international attention to Music City.

Officials say the 2013 event generated more than $13 million in direct visitor spending.

They estimated a record 85,000 people lined the streets of Broadway to experience the live concert series, Music Note Drop and fireworks display, up from 55,000 the previous year.
