Titans holding safety clinic for moms at stadium
NASHVILLE (AP) — The Tennessee Titans and the team's co-chairwomen are holding a football safety clinic just for mothers at LP Field.
The clinic Sunday will be hosted by co-chairwomen Susie Adams Smith and Amy Adams Hunt, daughters of the team's late owner Bud Adams. Smith says she and her sister are proud to put on the event to help promote safe play at all levels.
The clinic will include information on equipment fitting, concussion, heat and hydration and USA Football's Heads Up Football program. The moms will get to practice proper tackling.
Leigh Anne Tuohy, mother to Titans' right tackle Michael Oher, will be among those speaking along with former players Derrick Mason, Chris Sanders and Chris Hope.
