Spark Series. Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce is kicking off its new Spark Series, offering professional development workshops in partnership with c3/consulting. For teams or individuals, these full- and half-day workshops help organizations increase productivity, improve collaboration, enhance leadership skills and learn techniques for strategic planning. This workshop topic is “The Seven Separators of Facilitation Excellence,” and is scheduled for 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. at C3 Consulting, LLC, 2975 Sidco Drive, Nashville. $400 per person for Chamber members, $550 per person for future members. Summer of Street Food

Summer People’s Law School
People’s Law School is a free program that provides an overview of legal issues that a typical person might face. Taught by Legal Aid Society attorneys and volunteer attorneys, the weekly, one-hour classes will be held 6-7 p.m. on Thursdays at Cohn Learning Center, 4805 Park Ave., and at Wright Middle School, 180 McCall St. Complete schedule:
- July 17: Medicaid for Nursing Home Care and Home Care. Covers how to get TennCare/Medicaid to pay for home and community-based services or care in a nursing home. (Cohn)
- July 17: Basics of Consumer Bankruptcy. Explains the different kinds of bankruptcy, who qualifies for them, what bankruptcy can and cannot do and tips on choosing a bankruptcy lawyer. (Wright)
Goodlettsville Summer Concerts
Presented by Goodlettsville Area Chamber of Commerce at Goodlettsville City Hall Park, the Music on Main Summer Concert Series event will be held the Third Thursday of June, July and August with live music, food trucks, games and kids activities. The Arc of Cumberland Valley at The Streets Of Indian Lake in Hendersonville presents Cruisin’ 4 A Cause Fundraiser and Membership Drive with hundreds of classic cars, hot rods, rad rots and and more. All proceeds from this event will go to fund Project 22, The Arc of Cumberland Valley’s social/recreational club for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. (Located behind the Regal Movie Theater).
