Dickinson Wright hires for Music Row office
Crownover
Attorneys Derek Crownover, Austen Adams and Cam Caldwell have joined Dickinson Wright PLLC in Nashville to launch the firm’s office on Music Row and lead its expanded Entertainment Law Practice Group.
A select group of lawyers and staff recently relocated and expanded into offices on Nashville’s historic Music Row. Dickinson Wright will maintain the Music Row offices complementing the firm’s existing Nashville location downtown.
Crownover joins Dickinson Wright as a Member and Practice Leader of the firm’s Entertainment Law practice. He is personal counsel to various tech, entertainment, media and sports franchise executives and athletes. He represents songwriters, publishers and producers as well as some of the most active entrepreneurs in the entertainment and IP sectors in the South
Adams joins Dickinson Wright as Of Counsel. He is an entertainment attorney who represents and advises recording artists, songwriters, producers, artist managers, music publishers, technology companies, and other music industry professionals in entertainment transactions. He advises clients on the structuring and negotiating of a wide variety of agreements and issues relating to the digital distribution and licensing of music and entertainment content.
Caldwell joins Dickinson Wright as Of Counsel. He represents and counsels a wide array of clients, ranging from artists and songwriters to consumer product manufacturers and entertainment-related businesses. He has experience in employment law, Fair Labor Standards Act, alternative dispute resolution, and litigation experience in various state and federal courts.
In addition, Marie Gurgel, joins as a senior paralegal in the Entertainment Law Practice Group but will also continue her work in the Corporate and Wills and Trusts Practice Group. Charity Asher joins as a legal assistant.
Adams appointed as Chamber board chair
Kent Adams, president and CEO of Caterpillar Financial, has been named chairman of the board of the 2014-2015 Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce board of directors.
Adams will succeed Wayne Smith of Community Health Systems, who had served as chairman for the Chamber’s board of directors since 2012.

Fifth Third adds loan mortgage officers
Fifth Third Bank announces the hiring of three mortgage loan officers to the Tennessee affiliate’s mortgage division.
Amanda Dorley will serve the Cool Springs, Fairview and Harpeth Valley financial centers. She has two years of experience in the mortgage industry, advancing to assistant manager within her first year with previous employer Reliance First Capital.
Sean White will serve the Green Hills, Belle Meade and Charlotte Park financial centers. He has over eight years of experience in banking. White is a veteran of the U.S. Army with six years of active duty service, including domestic and overseas assignments.
Moncrief Williams will serve the Old Fort Parkway and University Center locations in Murfreesboro. In his first year in the mortgage industry, he spent the past 25 years in corporate sales. Williams is the president of the Rutherford Independent Networking Group and serves on the RPAC Committee & PR Committee for the Middle Tennessee Association of Realtors.

Kirby named CNO at River Park Hospital
Penny Kirby, RN, BSN, MSN, has been named Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) for River Park Hospital, McMinnville, according to Tim McGill, Chief Executive Officer.
Kirby is coming to McMinnville from McKenzie Regional Hospital in McKenzie, TN, where she has served as CNO since 2009. Her accomplishments included leading the hospital to be named a “Top Performer on Key Quality Measures” by The Joint Commission for three consecutive years. Prior to this, she served as Director of Nursing for Van Ayer Nursing Center and Rehabilitation Center in Martin, TN.
She has also served in leadership roles at Union City Surgery Center in Union City, TN, as well as at Regional Hospital of Jackson in Jackson, TN. She began her nursing career at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville.
Kirby earned a master’s of science degree in nursing administration from Union University in Jackson, TN, following completion of her bachelor’s degree in nursing from University of Tennessee at Martin.
Holmes, Shores join Pinnacle Financial
Pamela Holmes and Justin Shores have joined Pinnacle Financial Partners.
Holmes brings 14 years of experience to her role of vice president and credit advisor for Pinnacle’s small business advisory group, where she will focus on SBA lending. She comes most recently from Franklin Synergy Bank, where she was a credit analyst for SBA 7(a) and 504 loans.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance from the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga.
Shores, with six years of experience, joins Pinnacle as a service specialist for its Royal Oaks office in Franklin. Prior roles were with SunTrust Bank, where he served as a personal banker, and First Tennessee Bank, where he was a financial services representative. Shores attended Volunteer State Community College in Gallatin.
Aegis Health names two vice presidents
Aegis Health Group has appointed Corey Kunz and Brian Lebens to the positions of vice president of business development.
Kunz, who will be responsible for overseeing business growth strategies in the southeastern United States, brings to Aegis more than 13 years of sales experience, including serving as regional sales executive for digiChart in Tennessee and director of healthcare solutions for ProModel Inc. in Utah.
Lebens comes to Aegis from Wellness Modalities in Illinois where he most recently served as director of regional sales. His extensive sales and healthcare experience also includes serving as vice president of sales for Language Access Network in Ohio as well as owner of his own healthcare-focused consulting firm (MyBros LLC). Lebens holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio University.
