Haslams host 4th annual Easter Egg Roll
NASHVILLE (AP) — Gov. Bill Haslam and first lady Crissy Haslam are hosting their 4th annual Easter Egg Roll at the Tennessee Residence on Wednesday.
About 115 children from local day care and Head Start centers are expected to attend the event scheduled to start at 10:15 a.m.
In addition to Easter egg rolling, children will participate in relay games, crafts, face painting and a reading corner in support of the first lady's early literacy initiative.
She launched the Read20 Family Book Club about two years ago. It challenges Tennessee families to read together for at least 20 minutes each day.
