Tennessee winners this year are the Eastman Chemical Company, in Kingsport; Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville; and Nissan North America, in Franklin.

The Tennessee Valley Authority, headquartered in Knoxville, received the Excellence Award for activities that promote energy-efficient products, homes, or buildings.

According to the EPA, a total of 127 organizations across the country are being honored with Energy Star awards. The winners were selected from 16,000 Energy Star partners.
