Urban, Rascal Flatts to headline ACM charity fest
NASHVILLE (AP) — Keith Urban and Rascal Flatts are headlining the Academy of Country Music's Party for a Cause Festival in April, and helping to open a new entertainment district at Caesars Palace at the same time.
Rascal Flatts tops the festival bill April 4, Urban on April 5. The ACM Awards will cap the weekend April 6. Others scheduled to perform include Chris Young, Thomas Rhett, Jerrod Niemann, Joe Nichols, along with this year's new artist nominees. The charity festival benefits Outnumber Hunger and ACM Lifting Lives.
The two-day festival will be the first concert event held at The LINQ, which opens this spring. The main stage will be built in the shadow of the Las Vegas High Roller, the new observation wheel that's billed as the world's tallest.
