Print | Front Page | Email this story

NASHVILLE (AP) - The Nashville area Salvation Army needs help providing Christmas gifts through its Angel Tree program.

The agency says there were close to 3,000 angels still waiting to be adopted on Thursday.

Those adopting the angels provide personalized gifts and necessities for less fortunate children, seniors and disabled adults.

The Angel Trees are located at The Mall at Green Hills, Rivergate Mall and Cool Springs Galleria.

Angels can also be adopted online at http://nashville.salarmyangeltree.com.

The deadline for dropping off presents is 8:30 p.m. Monday.
