Lipscomb Academy Elementary School and Lipscomb University are hosting two household and e-waste collections. Community members are encouraged to bring batteries, fluorescent light bulbs, cell phones, computers and entertainment devices, ink cartridges, empty personal-care containers such as shampoo bottles, cardboard, aluminum cans, plastic bottles, well-worn clothing and linens, and expired or unused medications for proper disposal. AARP Driver Safety Class
The class is primarily designed for people 50 years of age and older, but is open to drivers of all ages. The class covers age issues such as age-related physical changes, declining perceptual skills and defensive driving techniques.
