NASHVILLE (AP) — The Music City Star commuter train and a dump truck have collided in Hermitage.

WKRN-TV (http://bit.ly/12fbmEH) reported no one on the train was hurt and the truck driver received non-critical injuries.

The crash occurred around 7:15 a.m. Tuesday and the conductor told police the trucker had ample time to move, but did not. It wasn't clear whether police were able to talk to the truck driver before he was taken to a hospital.

Police said the crossing lights were working.

The station reported 216 people were on the train, which carries passengers between Wilson County and downtown Nashville.

Another train was sent for the passengers.
