Uncle Dave Macon Days

Music will fill the air at the 36th Annual Uncle Dave Macon Days at Cannonsburgh Historic Village. Ricky Skaggs and Sharon White, this year’s Heritage Award winners, will be the grand marshals of Saturday’s 10 a.m. motorless parade down Main and Broad Streets. They also will perform that night at 7 p.m. on the main stage. The music festival is the setting for the international championships in buck dancing, clogging and banjo-picking. Approximately $10,000 in prize money will be distributed in various categories of music and dance contests. Admission is $5.
