Erik Daugherty, founder and owner of E3 INNOVATE, has been elected chair of the Middle Tennessee chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).

A Nashville native, Erik Daugherty founded home-performance company E3 INNOVATE in 2008 and was the first LEED AP Homes certified professional in Middle Tennessee. E3 INNOVATE helps homeowners, architects, builders and developers create healthier and more comfortable, efficient and sustainable homes.

He previously held research positions at the U.S. International Trade Commission in D.C. and Joanneum Research Institute in Austria, and holds an International Master’s Degree in Sustainable Development from Lund University, Sweden.

Daugherty also serves on the board of Trust for the Future and the Energy and Efficiency Weatherization Advisory Board for the Tennessee Housing Development Agency (THDA).

Dauphin named CFO at Ingram Content Group

Brian Dauphin, senior vice president of Ingram Content Group, will become the company’s Chief Financial Officer on July 1, succeeding Frank A. Kerrigan, who has served as Ingram’s CFO since 1996.

Kerrigan has announced his intent to retire next year. Effective July 1, he will become senior vice president for a transition period.

Kerrigan, a Nashville native, joined Ingram Book Group as vice president and controller in 1994. He was promoted to senior vice president and CFO of the Book Company in 1996. Prior to Ingram, he served in the automotive supply industry for several years.

He is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and a Certified Public Accountant.

Dauphin is currently the senior vice president of Ingram’s Lightning Source Inc., which provides print-on-demand services to publishers.

Dauphin joined Ingram in 1999 as controller for Lightning Source. He was appointed vice president and controller of Lightning Source in 2003, senior vice president for finance in 2004, and senior VP finance for Ingram Content Group in 2012.

Before joining Ingram, Mr. Dauphin was the co-founder and CFO of Carelink Health Partners, which managed hospital-based skilled nursing facilities and senior health centers until sold to LifeTrust America in 2007.

VUMC’s Dobie to lead Ambulatory Anesthesiology

Katherine Dobie, M.D., has been appointed chief of the Division of Ambulatory Anesthesiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC), succeeding Shannon Hersey, M.D., who accepted a position as medical director of Anesthesia Operations at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.

The Division of Ambulatory Anesthesiology at Vanderbilt was formed in 2008 to provide services for a growing number of Vanderbilt University Medical Center satellite locations, including the Nashville Surgery Center (NSC), Vanderbilt Outpatient Surgery Center (VOS), Cool Springs Surgery Center (CSSC), and Vanderbilt Bone & Joint Surgery Center in Franklin.

Dobie earned her medical degree from the James Quillen College of Medicine of East Tennessee State University in 2003. She completed two years of residency in general surgery at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and then joined Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 2006 to complete her residency in anesthesiology.

She has most recently served as medical director of Vanderbilt Bone & Joint Surgery Center.

LBMC Technologies adds Flick, Rollins

Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain, PC, a regional accounting and business consulting firm, has added Spencer E. Rollins, MBA, CISA, CM as a manager in its Security and Risk Services Practice in the Brentwood (Nashville) office.

Rollins will be specializing in information security for financial services, government contracts, and healthcare organizations. Rollins has 11 years of information systems risk management and operations experience implementing information security and operational risk strategies that deliver practical solutions to complex business problems.

Also, Jeremy Flick has joined LBMC as a technology consultant network engineer. Jeremy comes to LBMC from Naxos of America, Inc. where he worked as an IT manager for five years and has vast experience in network administration (desktop/server administration, installing, upgrading and troubleshooting various information system technologies).

CCA names Baxter VP of Health Services

Corrections Corporation of America has appointed John Baxter to vice president of Health Services. Baxter was previously director of Mental Health Services for CCA. He will replace the retiring Herb Spiwak.

Baxter brings more than 30 years of experience working in correctional health care. Prior to his joining CCA in 2008, he worked for 24 years for the Federal Bureau of Prisons in a variety of roles, including as the agency’s Psychology Services Administrator.

In his new position as vice president of Health Services, Baxter is tasked with the responsibility of overseeing inmate medical, mental health, and dental care services, pharmaceutical management, and off-site specialty care and hospitalization services for over 52,000 inmates.

Baxter has a doctoral degree in human development counseling from Vanderbilt University and a master’s degree from Harding Graduate School of Religion.

Petra Coach adds 2 entrepreneur coaches

Petra Coach, an entrepreneurial-coaching firm based in Franklin, has added two coaches to its team, Gene Robertson and Rob Simons.

Robertson and Simons will couple their combined 38 years of entrepreneurial experience with Petra’s goal setting and execution process to lead business teams through quarterly and annual planning facilitations.

Robertson owns three U.S. Lawns franchises in Middle Tennessee. He bought the first U.S. Lawns territory in Nashville 15 years ago after owning and operating an independent lawn care company for three years. U.S. Lawns has tripled its franchisee membership since Robertson joined, giving him many opportunities to mentor and coach newer members to success.

Simons is an investor and mentor in Texas-based startups Rebecca Creek Distillery and Z Tequila.

Simons is an active EO member and serves as the global chapter development committee chair. For the past seven years, he’s led EO member board facilitations helping members strategize for growth.

Fifth Third Bank adds to leadership team

Peter Clifford has joined Fifth Third Bank as vice president and business banking relationship manager.

Clifford was previously employed at GE Capital’s franchise finance business and has worked in the financial services industry for more than 20 years. He is a graduate of Manhattan College.

Shay Martin has joined Fifth Third Bank as assistant vice president and financial center manager for the Madison banking center.

Martin previously was employed at Regions Bank as a branch manager. She has worked in financial services for nearly six years and is a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a BBA in marketing.

Mark McClure also has joined Fifth Third Bank as assistant vice president and financial center manager for the Bell Road banking center.

McClure was previously employed at U.S. Bank as a branch manager. He is active with the Goodlettsville Chamber of Commerce and has worked in banking for the past four years. He is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Marketing.

Experienced trio joins Pinnacle Financial

Tracy Beirnes, Adam Hewitt and Debbie Weatherford have joined Pinnacle Financial Partners.

Beirnes has more than seven years of experience and joins Pinnacle as a service specialist for its Belle Meade office. She comes from SunTrust Bank, where roles included serving as a client service manager, customer service specialist and financial services representative.

Hewitt brings eight years of experience to his role of financial advisor assistant. He also comes from SunTrust Bank, where he was a client support specialist for its Private Wealth Management group. He is based at Pinnacle’s downtown Nashville location at Pinnacle at Symphony Place.

Weatherford joins Pinnacle as a Treasury Management operations product specialist. She has 35 years of financial services experience and brings a 30-year career from Bank of America, where roles included serving as a teller operations specialist, a senior sales support associate and a corporate trust operations officer. Weatherford is also based at Pinnacle’s downtown Nashville office.

Skanska adds Hall to Nashville office

Skanska USA has hired Chuck Hall as a project manager in its Nashville office.

Hall most recently worked as a tax professional and budget analyst. He joins Skanska with a project-management background, having worked for various construction companies in the Nashville area, including C.R. Hall General Services, where he coordinated renovation projects following the 2010 Nashville floods.
