NASHVILLE (AP) — Tennessee officials say national collections agency Windham Professionals is expanding operations in Hendersonville and Alcoa, adding 245 jobs in the process.

Gov. Bill Haslam and state Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bill Hagerty say the expansion in the two cities represents an investment of $500,000 by Windham.

Windham is based in Salem, N.H., with a regional headquarters in Hendersonville.

The expansion is expected to add 95 positions in Hendersonville and 150 additional jobs in Alcoa.

In a statement released Tuesday, Hagerty said the state has identified business services and call centers as one of the key sectors for business development and expansion.
