Robert Crump and Allison Champagne have joined King & Ballow in the litigation and the litigation, entertainment and intellectual property sections, respectively.

Crump earned his law degree from Vanderbilt University, where he completed the Cecil D. Branstetter Litigation & Dispute Resolution Program. He earned his undergraduate degree from Centre College.

Before joining King & Ballow, Crump clerked at a private firm. He is a writer for King & Ballow’s Employment Law, Construction Law, and Family Law Comment newsletters, as well as for King & Ballow’s employment law blog, Keeping You Posted.

Champagne earned her law degree from Pepperdine University, where she obtained a Certification in Intellectual Property, Entertainment and Technology Law. She was an author and editor for the Journal of Business, Entrepreneurship and the Law, a member of the Moot Court Board’s Entertainment Law Competition Committee, and an officer of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. She earned her undergraduate degree from Belmont University, where she was a member of the Alpha Chi National Honor Society and Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society.

Littler’s Stevenson wins ATHENA award

Joycelyn A. Stevenson, a shareholder with Littler Mendelson, P.C., was recently honored with the Nashville ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award, sponsored by Nashville CABLE.

Stevenson, an attorney in Littler’s growing Nashville office, was selected for demonstrating excellence and providing valuable service to the community while serving as a role model for young women.

Stevenson was nominated by the Lawyers’ Association for Women – Marion Griffin Chapter, for which she serves as the immediate past president.

Stevenson was recently elected to the boards of both the Nashville Bar Association and the Nashville Farmers’ Market. She also serves as president of the Council on Aging of Greater Nashville. In 2011, she was selected as a fellow of the Nashville Bar Foundation.

Stevenson received her J.D. in 2001 from Vanderbilt University Law School and earned her B.A., magna cum laude, in 1998 from Howard University.

Capella’s Medley honored with Leadership Award

The Tennessee Hospital Association has presented Mark Medley, president of hospital operations for Capella Healthcare, with its 2013 Small or Rural Hospital Leadership Award.

Medley serves on the THA board of directors and began serving on the Tennessee Rural Partnership board of directors as it became a subsidiary of THA during 2012. He is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and serves on the advisory council to Tennessee’s Regent of the ACHE.

He also serves on the Board of the non-profit Tennessee Rural Partnership Group. He joined Capella Healthcare in 2008.

Wheelhouse Marketing adds account director

Wheelhouse Marketing Advisors has tapped Nashville marketing veteran Janine Winnard as its account director.

Winnard, who has worked on both the agency and the client-side, will direct the day-to-day account details for several agency clients.

Her past client-side experience has included First American National Bank (now Regions) in the advertising, market research and creative service departments. On the agency side, she has helped market brands such as Taco Bell, HCA/Tri-Star health Systems, BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee and KinderCare Childcare Centers. She’s also has specialized in banking, having handled RBC Centura, HSBC Bank, Regions Bank, as well as First Farmers & Merchants Bank and FirstBank.

Prior to joining Wheelhouse, Winnard worked at J&A integrated thinking, Harland Clarke Marketing Services, The Buntin Group, First American National Bank and Ericson Communications.

Project manager joins Civil Site Design

Josh Bethea has begun work at Civil Site Design Group, PLLC, as a project manager and will manage land planning and landscape architecture services for various residential, commercial and mixed use projects.

Prior to joining Civil Site Design Group, Bethea owned Urban Roots Studio, a landscape architectural firm in Smyrna, Georgia. He has more than 12 years combined land planning, hardscape and construction documentation, garden design and project management experience. While primarily working out of the Atlanta Metro area, Bethea’s work can also be found in multiple states including Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia, as well as the Bahamas and U.S. Virgin Islands.

DSi hires Kimbrell for Nashville sales team

eDiscovery and digital forensics firm DSi has added Lisa Kimbrell to its Nashville team as an eDiscovery sales consultant.

Kimbrell comes to DSi from Xerox-XMC of Nashville, where she was a senior account sales consultant and a multiple winner of the Xerox Top Performer sales contest. She received the company’s highest sales honor in 2011, the President’s Club Award.

Nashville Medical Group welcomes new internist

Nashville Medical Group, a member of Saint Thomas Health, has hired Dr. Jennifer T. Rayburn, a board-certified internal medicine practitioner, to its staff.

Rayburn earned her medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. She completed her internal medicine residency with the University of Tennessee at Baptist Hospital in Nashville.

She is board certified in internal medicine and has a special interest in dermatology. She is also a member of the American College of Physicians.

Pediatric anesthesiologists join Tristar Centennial

TriStar Centennial Women’s & Children’s has added Ira S. Landsman, M.D., and Silvio Sitarich, M.D., board-certified anesthesiologists specializing in pediatric care, to the TriStar Centennial medical staff.

They bring almost 60 years of combined experience to the hospital and both most recently served at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville.

Landsman earned his medical degree from the State University of New York in Buffalo, N.Y. After completing a residency in pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, he went on to serve as chief resident of pediatrics. After next completing fellowships in pediatric critical care and then emergency care with Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston and The Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, respectively, Landsman completed his residency in anesthesiology at St. Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City in Kansas City, Mo.

Sitarich earned his medical degree from University of Zagreb Medical School in Zagreb, Croatia. After completing a residency in urology and serving as a urology research associate at Clinical Medical Center Osijek in Croatia, Sitarich served as a postdoctoral research associate in biochemistry at Meharry Medical College. He then went on to serve as a research instructor in pediatrics at Vanderbilt, where he later completed a residency in anesthesiology.

Reid joins LBMC Investment Advisors

LBMC Investment Advisors, LLC has added Andrew Reid as an analyst in its Brentwood office.

Reid will be assisting LBMC clients through investment research and portfolio analysis. Originally from Baltimore, Md., he is a graduate of Sewanee: The University of the South and The McIntire Business Institute at the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce.

His previous experience includes working for a private wealth management firm and an online wealth management software company in Nashville.

CapStar adds staff, reorganizes operations

CapStar has announced additions in several departments bankwide in anticipation of expected growth over the next several years.

Joe Surface joins the C&I lending team as a vice president/commercial relationship manager. Surface has worked for 27 years in the banking industry, most recently as the co-manager of the commercial area of Indiana Members Credit Union, a $1.4 billion financial entity in Indianapolis. He earned a bachelor’s Degree in business administration and management at St. Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Ind.

Daniel Tan has joined the commercial finance team as a business analyst. Tan joins CapStar from Cargill, Inc., in Hopkins, Minn., where he has been a credit analyst for the past six years. He earned an applied science degree at Western Iowa Tech Community College and a B.B.A in finance from the University of Iowa.

Sheila Cameron, who has supported chief development officer Ken Webb and chief credit officer Mark Mattson since the bank was organized, has been named executive assistant to COO Dan Hogan and CFO Rob Anderson. Cameron spent 13 years at SunTrust Bank as an executive assistant and as a business systems analyst for commercial management information systems. She has a B.A. from Lipscomb University.

CapStar’s Finance Department adds with the addition of Brian Katz, senior financial analyst, and Sarah Lovett, who has been promoted from financial services representative to staff accountant.

Katz comes to CapStar from First Tennessee, where he was most recently the manager of commercial line of business finance and had also served as a financial analyst.

He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.A. in finance, investments and banking. He will complete the executive MBA program at the Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Management in July.

Lovett earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Vanderbilt University. She is currently pursuing a MBA from Belmont University.

Derek Campbell has been appointed PC and LAN specialist in the information technologies department.

Campbell was most recently a field service engineer III with Pomeroy IT Solutions, working with various government agencies to resolve and support a variety of technical operations issues.
